Bluespaces award for Roding Farmers

8 farms from Little Canfield and Great Canfield won the Bluespaces award for the best project this year.
Improving public access with benches , signage information, clearing paths and bridges
Improving water quality by planting wild flowers where the field was previously farmed to reduce soil erosion and silt
Created dappled shade for the Trout and other aquatic life, which encourages invertebrates ( food source for the brown trout)
Creating and conecting habitats with hedgelaying, log piles , swift boxes and owl boxes
Young and old and many volunteers made this happen.
